Cancel application

Do you not want to enrol in the study programme(s) you have registered for, after all? Then go to Studielink via www.hu.studielink.nl and withdraw the enrolment request before the starting date of your study programme. You will then no longer receive any reminder emails from us and any completed authorisation expires. You can make a new request for enrolment in a different study programme.

How do I cancel my application in Studielink?

- Log in to Studielink: www.hu.studielink.nl (have your DigiD-code or password at hand)
- In your account, go to My enrolments
- Under possible actions, select Withdraw enrolment request

If you are fully enrolled, the button in Studielink is called Termination of enrolment. There are related costs if you dis-enrol on the starting date of your study programme or later (for example 1 September 2012 or later).

Please note!
If you disenrol before the end of the academic year, legislation on delayed studies (langstuderen) might apply to you. Early disenrolment may lose you a so-called extension year. For example: your programme starts on 1 September and you disenrol on 3 September. Even then you will lose your extension year.
