Applying in Studielink
To do a bachelor or master course at HU you apply in Studielink before 1 september 2012. Studielink is the Dutch information system for colleges, polytechnics, universities, and DUO. On the Studielink website you can track your enrolment status and update your personal data 24/7. Please refer to the Studielink website for further information.
You can enrol in Studielink until 31 August 2012, unless you want to register for a degree programme with an admission quota. For programmes with an admission quota, you should register earlier in the year. Check here if this applies to your programme.
How do I apply at HU University Utrecht?
- Log in at Studielink with DigiD (or apply for a password)
Go to Studielink (www.hu.studielink.nl) and log in with your DigiD. If you are not entitled to a DigiD,
you can apply for a password in Studielink.
You will then receive an email containing your password. Be sure to store this safely.
- Apply for enrolment
Apply for enrolment via Studielink. After you applied in Studielink, you will receive an email with your HU student number. Remember this number and mention it whenever you contact HU. HU will automatically receive your application via Studielink. Soon afterwards the HU Enrolment Office will send you an email with further instructions on how to complete your enrolment and digital authorisation for the payment of tuition fees. To ensure you receive this email, please verify that your email address in Studielink is correct. In case you do not receive the email, you can also download the enrolment instructions. Please note, in order to follow these instructions you should have applied for enrolment in Studielink first.
- Send in the requested documents
Please follow the instructions in Studielink. If certain documents are requested (because they could not be verified in Studielink), please send them to the Enrolment Office, marked with your name, date of birth and student number. You will receive your student number by e-mail once we have received your application for enrolment through Studielink.
- After your application
If you have finished your application and meet the legal requirements you will be enrolled. Shortly you will receive a proof of enrolment together with your student card. Make sure you uploaded a correct passport photo for your student card (see instructions).
Study grant
Please note, you cannot apply for a study grant and a public transport pass via Studielink. To arrange these things, please contact DUO (Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs).
